ABOUT NON-DISABLED ART PROJECT
Aim of the project: To develop sense of responsibility of youngsters with the international youth studies about ‘incorporating mentally disabled people into the social life’.
Targets of the project:
* To help people discover that ‘everybody could asist mentally disabled people in personal development through their own artistic abilities.’
* To build up a responsibility of social actions in public for mentally disabled people and generalize those actions locally, nationally and sustain them in Europe.
* To contribute to increase the projects of national and international civil society foundations for mentally disabled people.
* To develop physiological and psychological characters of mentally disabled people by the activities that will be done together with healty people and disabled people.
* To exhort internationally circulation of artistic and cultural activities.
* To develop intercultural dialog.
ACTIONS THAT PREDICTED DURING THE PROJECT
* Acquaintance activities (ice-breaker games)
* Instuctional studies with a social service expert
* Interactive drama, music and painting workshops with mentally disabled people
* Presentations of all those works
* To introduce attendant countries and groups
EUROPEAN SIDE:
the project aims to integrate mentally disabled people in society by providing equal opportunity and strengthen some important values locally, nationally and also in Europe. As an example; in 2007, ‘Disability and Sense of Social Responsibility’ takes place in important subject headings of the European Union.
EFFECTS OF THE PROJECT:
We expect that the project will have 2 essential effects:
* To improve sense of social responsibility of youngsters locally, nationally and internationally for integration of mentally disabled people .
* By means of this project, a group of mentally disabed people will share some social activities with European youth. At the end of the project, these kind of projects will be exhorted nationally and internationally through our presentations.
